What is Gap Fillers Flathead?
Gap Fillers Flathead is a nonprofit that works to ensure no child bears shame for lacking the funds for food, no girl bears shame for lacking the funds for basic, feminine hygiene supplies, and every child has access to emergency medical equipment & life-saving medication at school. Gap Fillers Flathead stands in the gap for under-served kids who don't have access to products or life saving medications. Gap Fillers Flathead is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. 100% of your donation stays in the Greater Flathead Valley for area schools in Whitefish, Kalispell, Columbia Falls and beyond.
Why is Tamarack Cannabis holding a drive?
Congress eliminated the universal free school lunch program that has fed every public school child in the state of Montana for the last two years. Inflation is already hurting many of our customers and their families and we want to do what we can to help close the gap. In an effort to make a difference in our community and help offset a current lack of funding in Flathead Valley schools, we’re collecting items and monetary donations for Gap Fillers Flathead. Tamarack Cannabis will offer a discount of $1 per donation item, up to $5 on your purchase during the collection period. Please note: specific donation items are requested. Collection begins Tuesday, September 6th and continues through Sunday, September 18th.

Please bring donations to Tamarack Cannabis! We'll accept cash and check donations (checks written to Gap Fillers Flathead), and also specific donation items as requested by Gap Fillers Flathead. Please stick to the items on list at the link, as this is an up-to-date list of Gap Fillers Flathead's specific needs. You are welcome to use other retailers, as desired.
